As part of our commitment to
Drive Away Hunger,
FCC provides funding for school-based food assistance
programs.
Eligible uses of funding include but are not
limited to:
- purchase, transportation and distribution of
nutritious food
- purchase, installation or repair of equipment needed for the
program
- costs related to implementing programs
** There is no more funding available in the following areas at
this time:
- Atlantic Provinces
- British Columbia
If your request is accepted, unless otherwise agreed to in
advance and in writing,
there are no reporting requirements tied to the funding.
Eligible for funding:
- First Nation, Inuit or Métis government/community
group/tribal council
- Publicly funded schools
- Registered charities with the Canada Revenue
Agency or non-profit organizations
- Public school boards and parent councils applying on behalf
of a school
NOT eligible for funding:
- Religious groups
- Political groups
- Individuals
- For-profit entities
- Private schools and daycares
- Debt reduction
- Organizations that do not pass FCC's background check
Application Process

- On average, it takes 20 minutes to complete the
application.
- All questions marked with
* are mandatory.
- After four hours of inactivity, the application will time out
and
the information you entered will
not be saved.
- You must submit your application online; we will not accept
applications by email, mail or fax.
- You will receive a PDF copy of your submission attached to
the confirmation email.
- You will receive an email regarding the outcome of your
funding request within 45 days of applying.
